About Our Team
SwimAtlanta Pool Management provides pool management, lifeguard staffing services and pool maintenance services across greater Atlanta.
We operate in the following areas: Atlanta, Decatur, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton, Forsyth, Cobb, Woodstock, Paulding, Towne Lake and surrounding areas.
Our Leadership
Doug has over 30 years of experience in the swimming pool management industry. He has been President of SwimAtlanta since 1996. He started working with SwimAtlanta Pool Management in the spring of 1984 as a Pool Manager. The next year he became a Regional Supervisor, and was promoted to Vice President in 1987. Doug has been a Certified Pool Operator since 1985, is a Lifeguard Instructor Trainer for the American Red Cross, and a Lifeguard Training and CPR and First Aid Instructor. Doug graduated from Maryville College in 1983 with a degree in business, and played basketball for the Maryville College team. Doug is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Leadership Training Institute and has completed the APSP Tech Certification. He is married and has two sons.
Dan has over 25 years of experience in the aquatics industry. While attending college he taught Lifeguard classes for the Red Cross and YMCA. In the summers he was Coordinator for the Cobb County YMCA's Summer Community Pool Management Program. Dan became part of SwimAtlanta Pool Management in 1997 and brought his experience from managing the largest private country club in the United States. Dan has chaired two national committees on aquatics safety and is a Certified Pool Operator. Dan graduated from the University of Georgia in 1993 and is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Leadership Training Institute.

Caitlin has been with SwimAtlanta since 2001. Caitlin started as a lifeguard, and moved on to work as a Pool Manager and a Regional Supervisor. In 2012 she was promoted to Director of Staffing and Recruiting. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2009 with a degree in Comparative Literature.
Jeff has been with SwimAtlanta since 2001. He has over 11 years of experience and is a Certified Pool Operator. Jeff began working for SwimAtlanta as a lifeguard and progressed to Pool Manager, shortly followed by Regional Supervisor. In 2007 he was promoted to Regional Director. In 2013 he became Director of Growth and Development. Jeff graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Business and Finance. Jeff now lives with his wife in Cherokee County Georgia.
Ben Fraundorf
Construction and Repair Manager
Ben has been with Swim Atlanta since 1995. He started as a lifeguard and pool manager. Ben later worked as a supervisor and regional director. In 2009, Ben moved to the Repairs and Renovations division. Ben is CPO and CST certified. Ben graduated in 2002 from Kennesaw State University with a degree in finance.
Mitchell McNaughton
Mitchell has been with SwimAtlanta since 2007. Mitchell started as a service tech then moved on to a lifeguard position then chemical delivery. Mitchell moved to a Repair Tech in 2016. Mitchell is CPO certified. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2016 with a degree in Criminal Justice.
Grace has been with SwimAtlanta since 2020, where she started as a Lifeguard and later worked as a Pool Manager and Regional Supervisor. She graduated from Ohio University with a degree in History and Education.
Daylen has been with SwimAtlanta since 2013. He started as a lifeguard and pool manager, then became a Regional Supervisor in 2016. Daylen previously worked as a Regional Director and is now Service Director. He is a certified Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor and CPO Certified.
Sheri Peacock

Sheri has been with SwimAtlanta since 1995. She graduated from California State University with a degree in Education. Two of her three children work for SwimAtlanta as a lifeguard and a Pool Manager. She lives in Forsyth County with her husband and children.
Our Safety Advisors
As part of The Pool Management Group network, our customers and employees receive the expertise of our internationally renowned Safety Advisors, Dr. Tom Griffiths and the team at Aquatic Safety Research Group. Their expertise is instilled throughout our risk reduction techniques and lifeguard training.
Dr. Griffiths was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame and is a Paragon Safety Award winner for his water safety efforts. He has been awarded the National Recreation and Park Association Distinguished Aquatic Service Award for a lifetime achievement and designated a European Lifeguard Academy Friend of the Academy for significant contributions to preventive Lifeguarding. Dr. Griffiths has also been named to “Who’s Who in Aquatics- The Top 100”, and “Power 25- Top 25 most powerful aquatics professionals in the World”, by Aquatics International Magazine.
Dr. Griffiths has authored more than 300 papers that have been published in scientific, professional and popular journals. He is an external reviewer for the American Red Cross Swimming and Diving publications.

In fact, the employees at headquarters don't run any pools directly. Instead, they're solely dedicated to assisting the various locations in our family of companies.
