SwimAtlanta's main offices are conveniently located in Roswell and Lawrenceville to provide services throughout the Atlanta area. We control our growth very carefully, taking only a limited amount of new customers each year, to ensure our current and new customers receive the service they deserve.

Doug McNaughton
President and Co-Owner
Doug graduated from Maryville College in 1983 with a degree in business and math, and played basketball for the Maryville College team. Doug started working with SwimAtlanta Pool Management in the spring of 1984 as a Pool Manager. The next year he became a Supervisor, was promoted to Vice President in 1987, and became President of the company in 1996. Doug has been a Certified Pool Operator since 1985, is a Lifeguard Instructor Trainer for the American Red Cross and a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Leadership Training course.
Dan Reed
Vice President of Operations
Dan began Lifeguarding in Metro Atlanta when he was 15 years old. While attending college he taught Lifeguard classes for the Red Cross and YMCA. In the summers he was Coordinator for the Cobb County YMCA's Summer Community Pool Management Program. Dan Graduated from the University of Georgia in 1993. He was then promptly hired to run the Aquatics facilities for the largest private country club in the United States. Dan became part of SwimAtlanta in 1997. He and his wife Denise currently reside in Woodstock Georgia.
Jeff Kissel
Regional Director
Jeff Kissel, Regional Director/ Sales, has been with SwimAtlanta since 2001 and is a Certified Pool Operator. Jeff started in 2001 as a lifeguard was promoted to Pool manager then to Supervisor. In 2007 Jeff was promoted to Regional Director and eventually took over Contract Sales for SwimAtlanta . A graduate of Kennesaw State University he lives with his wife Lauren in Canton, Georgia.
Danny Alter
Regional Director
Danny Alter, Regional Director, has been with SwimAtlanta since 2005 and is a Certified Pool Operator. In 2005 Danny started as a lifeguard then was promoted to Supervisor for three summers. In 2009 Danny was promoted to Regional Director.
Joe Bence
Human Resources Director
Joe Bence, Director of Human Resources, has been with SwimAtlanta since 2010. Joe graduated from Georgia College & State University, and ran Cross Country for the college team. He lives with his wife Sarah in Atlanta, Georgia.
Caitlin McQuade
Director of Staffing and Recruiting
Caitlin McQuade, Director of Staffing and Recruiting, has been with SwimAtlanta since 2001. Caitlin started in 2001 as a lifeguard, and moved onto work as a Pool Manager and a Regional Supervisor. In 2012 she was promoted to Director of Staffing and Recruiting. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Comparative Literature.
